I agree in principle, however...

Our government is using Windows for critical work, and have no viable
recover for a variety of systems, even good ones.

I think it would surprise you what the government might approve,
and what they might not approve.

It's a good idea, but more complicated to actually make happen.

Once again, nice idea, but...

In Tidewater, everything is consolidating around the big shops like
Sentara and Riverside.  Many doctors are actually moving onto Sentara
property (like the new Careplex in Hampton).  They all use the same small
set of labs.  Your doctor might even be forbidden to use a different lab,
and your insurance might refuse to pay for it if he did.

I really think the restriction of insurance to stay "in the network"
is bad.  They say it is for reducing costs, but I think it probably
increases costs to force people to avoid other sources of care.  You also
lose a lot of choices.
