Actually national defense and protection of our rights are what our government 
is based on, but is currently failing at miserably. If government would focus 
on its core competentcies instead of shooting people to Mars and back we 
would be a lot safer today. Instead we are faced with ever increasing acts of 
violence against Americans in the world. We have gang wars in our inner 
cities to make us all feel safe at home and Oh Yeah, give us more cute 
governmet programs like welfare, the drug war, our interventionist foreign 
policy, the UN, a flag on the moon. I'd love to see your copy of the 
constitution. None of those things are in mine. 

This country prospered in it's first 120 years with no tax on income and if we 
don't get back to that kind of government we are all going to be sorry.
