Re: [twuug] spam that scares me




I've been reading along and agreeing with you on most points-- but, you didn't 
pay for your phone. You paid for 1/0000001th of your phone (or whatever the 
number actually is). Just like the highway system, the telephone company 
takes your money and the marketer's money (and everybody else's money-- 
they're good at taking money actually) and they put it together and build the 
phone system. In that sense, they are a little like a mini-government 
(especially in the sense that they take as much of your money as they can pry 
loose) and aggregate it into a public works project-- the only difference is 
that they are a private company, and they keep taking your money.
