From TWUUG

  • Mark Davis after updates on the LTTCH/TWUUG network problems being solved, gave a show-and-tell on:
    • The new Moko case for the Nexus 10.
    • Inexpensive HDMI to VGA converters, and they actually work great under Linux and even with LTTCH's old projector.
    • XBMC on Android. Version 12 is now out of beta/RC, but it is still not in Google Play yet; it can be side-loaded from xmbc.org.
  • Matthew Fillpot gave a presentation on the Steam client running on Linux. And on Slackware, no less!
  • Sal Yorks gave a presentation on using VirtualBox under Linux to run persistent server client machines.
