From TWUUG

  • Mark Davis gave presentations on:
    • Using On The Go (OTG) cables with tablets and phones to allow using USB Mass Storage devices and HID.
    • Using the Nexus Media Importer Android Linux app to control OTG mounted devices.
    • Using an MHL adapter to export video from a tablet or phone without a dedicated HDMI port.
    • The new Lenovo T540p Thinkpad laptop running Linux with Intel Haswell-M processor. (Summary- so far all the hardware works very well with Linux (Fedora 20 in this case), including webcam, fkeys, suspend to RAM, 2/3D video, SDD, WiFi, Ethernet, VGA/DP, DVD, CPU scaling, etc, although the machine lacks traditional LED indicators).
