Background

The TWUUG OpenOffice Marketing Flier was based on a flier originally designed by the OpenOffice.org Marketing team. Mark A. Davis was looking for something to use locally, and took the original document and almost completely re-wrote it. After 12+ hours of work, about the only things remaining from the original document were the screen shots and some of the layout.

The document was first introduced at the 03-2007 meeting.

Design

The flier was designed in OpenOffice with occasional assistance from GIMP. It is four pages, full color, and designed to be printed on a single sheet of 11x17 duplex paper.

Purpose

The purpose of the flier is to spark interest in OpenOffice in our community. Please feel free to distribute the flier to as many people as you like. If you would like high-quality printouts, just come to a TWUUG meeting, since we are likely to have some there.
