Another "open topic" meeting with many things discussed:

  • The purpose of having/using a server-centric distro like RHEL/CentOS.
  • Refresher on different Linux/Unix startup systems.
  • Historic reasons for /bin vs. /usr/bin vs. /sbin vs. etc.
  • LTTCH's recent dive into "Interactant".
  • Privacy and security in general.
  • Mailinator anonymous disposable Email.

Attendance: 9 members + 0 new + 0 returning + 0 visitors = 9 attendees, minimum.

Membership: 47 members + 0 new + 0 returning - 0 expired = 47 TWUUG members. Congratulations to our newest "Fellow" level member- Steve Sanchez!
