- Presentation on a "Pluggable" brand USB microscope under Linux. Model USB2-Micro-200x. It is a 50x magnifier with 2 megapixel resolution that works well with cheese and other apps. Even the button works to take still snapshots.
- Presentation on the fifth generation Intel NUC (Next Unit of Computing) micro desktop computer running Linux. The model shown was the top-of-the-line Core i7 NUC5i7RYH with 5557U CPU, Iris 6100 Graphics, M.2 drive, 2.5" sata bay, 16GB of DDR3 RAM, etc.

- Showed off the Lenovo Yoga 2 running Linux.
- Linux electronic paper application called "Xournal"
- Remote wand-type USB webcam inspector tool under Linux, "General Tools & Instruments" brand model DCS050 from Northern Tool.
- Obtaining your MS-Windows license key from the BIOS while in Linux using /sys/firmware/acpi/tables/MSDM
