- Mark Davis gave information on the state of AMD vs. Intel, Google declaring it will no longer allow MS-Windows on their desktops, only Linux and MacOS, Android and WebOS happenings, AMD's 870 chipset (with promises of experience update next time).

- Matthew Fillpot gave a debriefing on the "Linux Foundation Collaboration Summit". The addition of a more sophisticated tiled window manager in KDE. Also mentioned was the distribution of the Linux Android Nexus One.
