At this meeting:

  • Mark Davis started a conversation about Tizen Linux developed by The Linux Foundation which Samsung is using for their smart watches and TV's as well as some appliances and Bluray players, and discussed the Samsung Gear line.
  • Loren Howe gave a presentation on Ubuntu Linux Phone, also known as "Ubuntu Touch." He showed a Nexus 5 on which he recently loaded it.
  • Mark Davis gave a presentation on the Linux-compatible "Rii Mini 8+" micro wireless keyboard/mouse.

Attendance: 11 Members + 1 new + 1 returning + 1 visitor = 14 attendees, minimum.
Membership: 26 Members + 1 new (Howe) + 1 returning (Jenkins) - 2 expired (Alexander, Perry) = 26 TWUUG members.
